Tim's active engagement with community issues, understanding of budgetary constraints, and foresight into the future needs of the city, showcase his commitment to public service beyond mere administrative duties. Tim Reed is an excellent choice for Galt City Council.
Tim has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to our community and a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our city. His experience in supporting youth activities including Cub Scouts and Children’s sports along with his leadership on the Public Safety and Beautification Committees has equipped him with the skills necessary to make informed, impactful decisions on the City Council.
I am confident that he will serve our community with dedication and excellence.
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter in support of Tim Reed as he runs for Galt City Council. It should be noted that I am not speaking on behalf of the GJUESD board, but only for myself.
I am a member of the GJUESD board of education, and my primary concern is the education and well-being of children in our town. The welfare of our kids is not only tied to our schools but also our community systems. Tim cares deeply about several significant factors that affect the quality of life in Galt – he has extensive working knowledge of emergency systems, response times, and how to coordinate organizations to complete a project. His experience is far reaching, but what knowledge he does not possess he is willing to find.
As Galt grows, albeit slowly, our leadership will need to be vigilant in order to ensure that city systems and public safety mechanisms are able to meet the demands. In our conversations I have been impressed with Tim’s ability to forecast potential issues regarding fire response and emergency services. I also believe that as city codes are re-written in response to the Grants Pass Supreme court ruling, Tim will be willing to support law enforcement as they look for ways to deal with homeless encampments without allowing them to remain in the city. Finally, Tim is a strong supporter of law enforcement, while also willing to look for ways to partner with and improve the department.
I would urge you to vote for Tim Reed for Galt City Council. I believe he has the experience to improve systems in the city and will work hard to serve the people of Galt responsibly and with integrity.
Sincerely,
Katherine Harper

“I first met Tim Reed through our interactions in the Galt Public Safety Committee, for which I appointed him to, and he now serves as the chair of that city committee. Tim has a depth of knowledge and experience in public safety, and is very passionate about using this experience for the City of Galt. I have come to know Tim as ambitious, and willing to dive in to tough issues. He has performed in leadership roles in both his personal and professional life. Being a City Councilman is a role that requires great commitment, and I know Tim would give his best if elected. I think Tim is someone I could work well with on issues facing our city, and he is eager to learn and work along side senior members of the city council. Voting for your representatives on the Council is very important to our community. I believe Tim would make a great Councilman and I support him and his candidacy to represent our City.”
